Town duo want new manager appointed swiftly

Saturday since they were beaten 3-2

As quoted by Agen Ibcbet, Town saw their play-off chances please take a further hit on Saturday since they were beaten 3-2 by Mansfield, leaving them 11 points over five.

Neilson took the sport alongside Stuart Cash and Carl Emberson as they tried at Macclesfield in midweek, but needed fresh blood to reinvigorate Hatters’ chances with just 16 games left.

He explained: “We haven’t been told anything yet, however i think we probably require a new man in now, a whole new face who is going to really gee the lads up.

“We’ve done everything we can. Myself, Stuart Cash, Embo (Carl Emberson) Dimi (Kharine) also. We need somebody in now who’s gonna say this is actually the boss, and hopefully when a new boss comes in the members lift their game and they also need to do that.

“I thought we’d lifted them enough to get the the points but we haven’t. Mistakes ended up costing so a new face is necessary as quickly as possible.”

That view was echoed by goalscorer Rendell, who said with the impending appointment: “The sooner the greater really. It’s lower than us, it’s around Gary Sweet and also the other board to produce the correct decision they feel and change from there.

“We can’t a single thing about this, we’ve got no affect on who is available in and who goes. We simply need to bother about our jobs so when the modern man will come in, enjoy utilizing him.”

Bookies favourite for that remains former Wycombe boss Gary Waddock, who Rendell played under while in the Chairboys and asked whether he felt the ex-Town player has to be good option, he added: “I’ve worked him and also got lets start work on him perfectly.

“Whether it’s Gary or whether it’s another manager, it doesn’t really matter for people.

“We’ll just respect who will come in, listen to what they’ve have got to say and move on.”

It seems like Town are closing in on the target as director David Wilkinson wrotes in his programme notes: “We may well have appointed our new manager by the time you read this.

“We all hope that he meets with your approval and support so we have the ability to welcome him as only we can.”
